“Several months ago my husband drove me to my first appointment with Dr.Polek at a time where I didn’t have any hope. I had been on medications and seen other Dr and felt like nothing worked and no one listened. When I first walked in I was nervous but everyone was so welcoming and kind. Dr.Polek listened and never judged me. He set me up on medication and a therapist. He let me have control over my care, he informed me of everything and answered all of my questions and gave me options. My therapist is absolutely amazing and she has helped me tremendously. Because of a move I had my last appointment, and I’m walking out on the other side a better person and happier person. This is a vulnerable review but I wish there were more when I was looking for a place to go in the beginning. The entire staff and care team at Family Care Center genuinely care are compassionate and welcoming and makes getting help so much easier. I wish I could give this place more than 5 stars, and if you’re scared or nervous about asking for help you don’t have to be here. Thank you so much to everyone here!”

“I also LOVED working with Jen! Any problems you have staff wise just ask for her! She is AMAZING! I couldn’t get onto my online portal and she took care of it right away and is currently advocating on my behalf for a payment issue. This is the first time I’ve ever had someone call to try to resolve an issue and that says a lot about the business and how they want to help! I look forward to increasing this to a 5 stars review once the payment issue is resolved :) I also really like Dr. Polek. He’s super chill and great to work with medication wise. “I recently started seeing Dr. Polek at FCC. I cannot say enough positive things about the experience. He is incredibly knowledgeable, takes the time to not only talk through what you’re dealing with but to explain the condition(s) you may have, some of their background and how they impact the mind/body, and to thoroughly talk through the medication (s) and treatment plan we are trying. Unlike many providers, he is less focused on following a guideline or fear mongering and more focused on finding the best solution available for the patient’s specific needs, symptoms, and circumstances. He makes a clear effort to try to hone in on the best option for each patient rather than trying to force each patient in a standard cookie-cutter mold. I’ve been using mental health services with different organizations and providers for nearly two decades, and I’ve never had a provider I felt I trusted more with my care.”

“I would highly suggest choosing a local practitioner in Clarksville that isn’t involved with this franchised “care center”. If you have a minor child, do not send them here unless you want to never be able to find out even the most basic information (visit dates and billing) because they will not give it to you. They send appointment reminders, which is common with medical practices these days, but will stop sending them at random and then blame the patient for missed appointments that they never knew was scheduled. Their front desk staff is also misinformed about HIPAA laws and speak from a position of expertise they do not possess.”
