“I had a terrible experience with this practice and the NP provider Latasha McVey. This company has misleading information on their website regarding the type of testing/evaluation they provide. I was given dishonest information regarding the services I would be provided, and regarding follow up care by the provider herself. Additionally, I was not told until I drove over an hour to my appointment that the provider would not be present in person, but rather it would be through telehealth, which I do not prefer. The company did not provide actual paperwork or even a tablet but forced me to use my phone which I expressed was challenging to do. Some of the paperwork provided was misleading or did not make sense and not all the staff at the front desk were knowledgeable to properly explain some rather unusual policies this practice had which I had never experienced at other doctor offices and felt pressured to sign things I did not fully understand and felt the staff did not even fully comprehend. I was also told up front that the provider was running on time, only to find that my appointment in fact didn’t start until a half hour later than scheduled. When my vitals were taken and I explained that some of them were highly unusual for me, the staff never attempted to re-take my vitals. I had been told over the phone in advance that I would be offered a thorough intake interview, however the provider offered what seemed like a rather brief intake with me and did not seem to be a very empathetic person. She was rather unconcerned/stoic and certainly did not seem to be very thorough. Then she told me that she could do a follow up appointment with me after the results came back from a test I had done and so I decided to wait until the results came back and then get in touch with the office if I had any questions. Then literally the next day, with no explanation, I received an email from the provider with a letter of termination of patient/physician relationship. This was completely surprising and confusing as she had literally just told me she would do a follow up appointment with me and gave no indication of any concerns with us continuing to work together, although she did say she could offer me a referral to somewhere closer to where I lived if I wanted for more follow up evaluation. When I called the office to figure out what was going on I was told by an office administrator that the provider felt like she could not help me with my situation which did not make any sense and I was not offered any further explanation. This made it clear how completely unprofessional this practice is, as well as the provider Latasha. Furthermore, after calling back the practice again, because I wanted to receive an explanation or the results from my test, and had been told by the office administrator that someone would in fact contact me to review the results, no one ever called me back from the office. I would absolutely never recommend anyone going here for their level of unprofessionalism and dishonesty and overall lack of care and concern for their patients.”

“The medical staff is awesome and they really care about the patient making sure that I had the right kind of care that I needed! They offer the MAT program without judgement and case mngt is great. The doctor's make sure we're taken care of and they truly care about us, I used to hate going to the doctor and now I look forward to seeing them! If you're sick of addiction you should try the Mat program it's saved my life!!”

“I was at freeman recovery and was able to see the wonderful doctors and and psychiatrist and therapists and nurse practitioners and nurses at Freeman health and to say that they are amazing is a understatement they truly care and they show that they're not there just for a job I have since left Freeman and moved three and a half hours away and I still continue to use them for my psychiatrist because I know that they actually care and want the best for me when I could easily find someone closer but I continue to use Freeman health partners for my care because I have learned to love them and trust them”

“The whole team sincerely cares. Everyone there staff wise has in one way or another been effected by addiction and for me that makes all the difference because they've lived it ! kind and understanding was my experience the counselors go the distance for every need within their reach and freemans resources are above every rehab in the state! I cant put into words how much (Leann) my counselor helped me in residential also (Brandy) In P.H.P was great they are both phenomenal !!! Thanks Freeman as a whole for all you Did and continue to do on a Day to Day”
